Show CITY RECORDER SUED Dispute Over Bail Money Causes Ac Action i tion in Court Suit was filed ill in the civil division of the eit city court yesterday by I U G against City Recorder J 1 S 5 Critchlow in which it is sought to col coi I lect deposited in the criminal dl di division vision as bail for N s Mr Critchlow is not only city recorder but buthe buthe he Is also alS clerk of the city court and is supposed ed to handle and account for all moneys received In the court X Ic was arrested on the charge of burglary and March Hi 16 1185 the OO was a deposited as bail to so e cure his appearance in the district court to which he was as bound over May 8 the case against him was as die dis dismissed missed and the ball bail was as by Judge Armstrong ordered released alleges In his complaint that he made a demand upon the city eity re recorder recorder corder and clerk derk of oC the city court for the OO but that It w was u tot sot turned over to him He therefore asks that jUdgment be rendered against Mr Critchlow and his bondsmen Mr Critchlow claims that when was arrested he was represented nested b by McGurrin Gustin who subsequently withdrew from the ease case and were succeeded by Walter Valter W V Lit Little Littie tie tle When the bail baiJ was ordered re released leased he turned the over to Mv Mr Little who ho put up the money claims it should have been turned over oer overto to him hence the suit |
