The "Occidental " saloon on First South street, has recently undergone a thorough transformation, and to-d to-d in its new form, is one of the st und most elegant catablish- 'n the city. Potter, who also was the car-peuter; car-peuter; the plastering, a neat job, was by Mr. Nowell and the painting, excellently done especially the wainscoting by Mr. John Tullidge; the plumbing and gasfhtini; are the result of Mr. Cleo'ge E. Reid's labor and show capital skill and taste, the chandeliers being very neat. The proprietors, Messrs. Auer L Murphy, aro gcatlemanly caterera and by tho policy of strict attention to their business busi-ness have secured the patronage of a largo portion of the thirsty SaU Lake public, and as the pioneer dispensers of one-bit drinks, the beverage-imbibers will not forget them. |
