Show Base Ball. , The Deseret base ball club of this city will to-day appeir in full uniform uni-form and play their first match game of the season on their new grounds on Washington square. The club has lost some of its old players, but the vacancies have been filled with new and promisiug material, and the game to-day will tell whether or not the baiug success may be relied on as carried the cluh through the season sea-son of 187G without a defeat. The opposing party will be the Metropolians Metropoli-ans under the captaincy of Mr. H. J. Grant, and will no duubt prove strong competitors to the striped stockings. The Desvret niuu for this occasion will consist ot Morris, 1st base; Huey, 2d base; Mathews, 3d base; Wheeler, pitcher; Snow and Alston, abort stop and catcher; Mc-Kuau.
