Show The Coming Shout. AMERICAN BORN TEAM. At a meeting of the native American Ameri-can rifle team, held Monday evening, Mr.C.E.Wallin was elected as captain, Jamea McGregor referee, Palmer aa spotter, aud F. J. Evans at scorer. The following gentlemen constitute tbe team and reserves : Conrad, , Groesbeck, M. M. Young, Jaoksou, Dye, BlacK, Day. Brim, A. Young and Wallin. Meeting adjourned sine die. C. E. Wallin, Chairman. G. W. Bostitick:, Secretary. ) REIGN -BORN TEAM. At a meeting of the foreigu-born rilie team, G. A. Meeara was unanimously unani-mously elected aa the captain, with power to appoint an adjutant. The total score of J. E. Bamberger of 157 was received. Col. Samuel Kahn was elected i referee.Major Jos. Gorlinski as spotter, ! and Wm. Gibson aa scorer. It waa moved and carried that the; marksmen retain tha positions won in the preliminary contests, as follows: Meears, Jamea Sharp, John Sharp, J. Heusser, Couch, Hawkins, La ley, Stone, Bamberger, Egli and Wm. Heusser, and that the first eight constitute con-stitute the team. It waa then decided to bold a team practice match on Tuesday, 16th inst., at 2 p.m. It is especially desired de-sired that all the above-named gentlemen gentle-men be present at the practice match to-day. It was agreed that the match should take place on Arsenal bill, commencing at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 18tb; that the range be 200 yards, ofT-hand.'ten shots each, with two sighting; N. A. R. rules to govern, gov-ern, with article 9, lection 9, suspended sus-pended . M. H. Walker was elected umpire, and G. W. Bcwtwick range officer. It waa declared tbe sense of the meeting that the range officer ba instructed in-structed to enforce tbe laws of the range absolutely as recorded. Tbe i two captains were empowered to make all neceaaary arrangements for the proper conduct of the contest. The joint wish was to extend a cor dial invitation to the publio to be present on tbe occasion. It will be difficult to make any i very good arrangements for the public accommodation, but the best that: cao be done will be.
