Show B SAVER COUNTY. A Big Smelting Enterprise Abundancn ol Ore. W. 3. Godbe of Salt Lake city has mado a contract with the owucrB of the Bonanzv mine at Frisco, Beaver county, fur ore to run a furnace of fifty tons capacity per day. The contract allows him to work any desirable de-sirable quantity ofore, and Mr. Godbe expects to add two or three other furnaces to his fifty-ton furnace as rapidly ns the same can be erected. He expects to work from 100 to 200 tons of 01c daily when he gels his full furnace capacity. We understand that Mr. Godbo will erect his works at Frisco, within ft few tnous.md feet of the mine. Previous to the erection of the Frisco furnace, the water question at that point was regarded as nil unsettled one. It is now claimed that an unlimited supply can be had by sinking wells to the depth ol fifteen or tweuty feet, and it is in thu way that the new furnaces are to be supplied. The furnaces will be well bituated for charcoal, being in tbo centre of a large area of pinou piue, from which the article is mainly manufactured for smelting purposes. Ot course the question to be solved iu connection with Mr. Godbe's mammoth mam-moth Bmelter is that of ore. One hundred and fifty or two hundred tons ofore daily get to bo a big quantity quan-tity in the course of a year or two. We are told by good judge that 100,-000 100,-000 tons do not half tell the quantity at present iu Bight. The Bonanza, be it known, is not the only mine iu S in Francisco district. There are more limn 1,500 locations in the district dis-trict and more than a dozen of what are supposed to be big mines. But the main string for the bow at present is the Bonanza, nnd unless everybody has mistaken, it is all sufficient. We think we can say that the general gen-eral outlook for the Bsaver county mines was never so favorable as at tho present time. There is a greater product of ore and the deposits de-posits and veins make a bettor showing than ever beloie, A largo amount of capital will be employed this year in development, and every indication leads irresistibly to the belief be-lief that the fall of the present year will see Beaver county in a most prosperous condition, arising from the products of her rich and exteuiwe mines.
