At about 10 o'clock this morn, ing, the deceased walked across tho eulch from Isadoro Morris' storo to his room apparently in good health, and in about fifteen minutes the news was spread that he was a dead man. Several of his friends being present, the justice ol the peace waB requested to hold an investigation by a coroner's coro-ner's jury; but tho J. P. did not deem . it necessary to summon a jury to ; hold an inquest, as it would make j expense on the county. Hard drink is supposed to be the cause of his sudden exit. m Deceased was about 15 years of age; well informed, and was a quiet and good citizen. We have no knowledge of his relatives, as he never received any mail. Ho has said that he was a native of Nova Scotia. The Nez Perccs company has furnished fur-nished a coffin, and tho deceased will be buried to-morrow at the Bingham grave yard. Mr. Young was a good mechanic, and came to this camp some three years ago. Libeui. |
