On Tueiday evening last the members mem-bers of the 20!ih ward institute and their invited friends congregated iq the ward schoolhouss and witnessed one of tho most delightful entertainments. entertain-ments. Mr. Lsnhart gave them a free exhibition with his beautiful lantern, consisting of about 150 magnificent views in Italy. Pretty .landscapes, elegant edifices, fine bridges, grand ruins, choice sUiu-iry, and occasional mechanical efljctj, such as the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, Ve-suvius, and others, reflected on an imrnenseseale the wonderful sconery of the old world, and the concise J.: ser'mtiom read in a clear voice by the gentleman, adJel to the injtruj tion and euj ymant of all pnweut. The house was well filled, and the most profound interest w.u invni-feated invni-feated till the closo.
