Show Grand Unity iu .Hompliis. Memphis, 4. The democrats had a graud torchlight procession to-night. About five huudred Mias-issippians took part in the procession, and imong them were a number of colored col-ored men belonging to the democratic club at Hernandez. Hon. L. Q. G. Lamar accompanied thorn, and was expected to deliver an address at the exposition building, but helore the train reached the city be was taken ill, and on arriving here was compelled com-pelled to go to bed. Speeches were nude by General Alexander Campbell, Camp-bell, Judge W. T. Brown and others. |
