Show PERSONAL. Mr. H. E. Miller is up from Lewis-ton. Lewis-ton. That reverend gentleman John E. Cowles is again in Salt Lake. David P. Lowe, ex chief justice of Utah, received a pretty healthy vote for United States senator from Kansas, Kan-sas, yesterday. Mr. W. McCrea, and his sister, Mrs. H. D. Converse, leave for the east this morning, and expect to be I absent a couple of months, visiting ! relatives and Iriendt in Ohio. Miss Allison, a correspondent of the New York Graphic, id stopping at the Townsend house. She is en route for San Francisco, to fiil an engagement engage-ment on the press of that city. Mr. M. M. Kaighn, the special agent of government who recently spent some time in this city, investigating investi-gating federal officials, has returned to Salt Lake. We understand he will enter upon the practice of his profession the law. |
