Show Too Good to Live. Indianapolis, Ind., 17. The inde- pendent state committee to fill vacun- cies on the stato ticket met to-day. f There were present 3oO or 400 dete- gates. After the election of oflittrs, etc., resolutions were reported, en-" en-" dorsing the platform of the indt-pend-f ent state national convention, and f denouncing the act of 1873, by which the silver dollar was dropped from our hst of coins, and demanding its S return; that it is a free cum and should be encouraged to enable government to pay lU coin obligation in silver, as it has the right tu ilo under the original contract; that nil values should be taxed equally, including in-cluding government bonds and green backs; that the independents liav no faith in tho professions of reform which come on tho one hand from the corporation, the' thief and the railway vsrecker, representing the old Tammany engine of New Vork, and on the other hand from the organization or-ganization which, in national convention, conven-tion, has endorsed the entire administration admin-istration of President Grant, not even excepting its stealing. So confidence can be placed in the o:d puhticul parties which havo been steeped in corruption and complicated with dishonesty.
