Show ., Titeatre. There are two performances at tho theatre to-day; a matinee in the afternoon after-noon for ladies and children, and the regular performance in the evoning. The bill for the matinee is the ever popular sensational drama of "Under the Gaslight," produced with all its comicalities, thrilling situations and novel efiects. ' For the evening a glorious Saturday night performance is advertised, consisting con-sisting of the romantic sensational drama of the "Hidden Hand," caBt to the full strength of tho company, and produced with all its exciting ait-uations ait-uations and peculiar characteristics. In the plantation scene, Charley Ap pleby, Tommy Reamer and others will execute songs, dances, and other negro peculiarities, ending with a grand walk around. After the drama Mr. Clayton will appear in some of his favorite serio-comic songs; the whole concluding with a comic sketch entitled "He would be an actor," in which Mr. Clayton and Tommy Reamer Rea-mer will sustain the principal parts. These bills are every way worthy the support of the lovers of legitimate amusement, and we expect to see good houses at both performances today. to-day. . . |
