Show The Excursion. The excursion to Lake Point yesterday yes-terday afternoon and last, evening, was a pleasant little "out," which was enjoyed by about sixty ladies and gentlemen. Among the party, as guests of Mr. J. W. Young, were Col. Moule, chief of police, New Zealand, with his lady; Mr. Ollivier, barrister; and Messrs. Baker & Harris, Har-ris, merchants, all of New Zealand; also John Neols and Capt. Delaney, of New York, and several of Suit Lake's first people. The company enjoyed themselves feasting, dancing and sailing nn the lake till about half-past half-past ten o'clock, when the train returned re-turned lo the city, arriving at midnight. mid-night. Moonlight excursions to Groat Salt Lake, accompanied by dances in Clinton's new hall, will become popular here. |
