To-morrow moruing the president will be driven out to Beacon park to inspect aome blooded stock. At 1 p.m. tie will visit the Mus.-achu-aatta ciub, and at 2 p.m. wilt be entertained en-tertained at a ba:iquv, at the Commercial Com-mercial club rooms, at whion Governor Gaston will be present. At 8 p.m. the president's party will leave for Concord. .Boston, 1. The cniupai.y entered the building and were ushered into the executive chamber aud presented to Guveruor Gaston and members of the council and state officials, from whence they proceeded to the senate chamber, here the president was formally introduced, in-troduced, and from nhere the party entered the house of representatives, where a similar introduction was made. Boston, 17. The banquet at the Parker house, to-day, given by the commercial club iu nonor of the pre-1 sident and cabinet, was a grand affair. One hundred and twenty-six guests were present. Alexander Price, president of the club, presided. President Pre-sident Grant, Secretarys Robeson, Belknap, Fish, Delano, aud Postmas-1 Postmas-1 ter General Jewell were preaent, and a number ol local celebrities. The presidential party leit for Concord by special train. Concord, N. H., 17. President Grant arrived this evening and drove to the residence of Judge Hoar whose guest he is while here. A Pullman train of four cars arrived from St. Albans with General Peck and other state officers, and the RanBom guards with the St. Aibans brigade band. The town is thronged with visitors. |
