Show Malad Nows. Messrs. James Chifers and David R. Jones made a hasty call yesterday from the metropolis of Oneida county, daho, and gave a glowing account of their town and business. Up to the time they left home there was very little snow in the valley. The extensive ex-tensive cooperative store there is doing a good business. A first-olass grist mill, which has lately been refitted re-fitted with new machinery, is turning turn-ing out excellent work, under the supervision of Mr. Shimmin. Lost year's harvest was very abundant, and grain bins are consequently full. IMfUiitl ia. ono of tho moat boautiful and productive littlo valleys in this western country. The bottom land is rich, and there is an abundance of water running through it ; while the neighboring hills are covered with timber and wood. It is one of those places where an industrious man can soon get rich, and being only partly settled there is plenty of room for such lo locate and make themselves torn for table homes. The gentlemen above express the highest praise for Judges Hollister and Peck and Bishop Daniels, all of whom they say, have the confidence of, and are well liked by the people of Oneida county.
