The committee on public ground i reported favorably on the proposition of James Townsend to lease the Warm Spring bath home, and recommended recom-mended that he be granted a lease ol it fjr one year at $150 per month. Ihe committee on police reported that they had exannued AldermaD Pyper's report, found it correct and recommended that the requisite ap propriation be made. Report, received, recommendation adopted and amount appropriated. A bill of Chief Engineer Ottinger ol the fire department, fur three patent nozzles, amounting to &J2.45, was presented and amount allowed and appropriated. Alderman Raleigh, from the committee com-mittee on municipal laws, to whom bad been referred the communication ot the ttaseceor and colleotor, reported that tlw-y hail diafiud an ordinance, and moved that it be placed upon its paeagn.
