Miss Rogers, as Heater Grazcbrook, showed some of the finest cOmcdy-acting over seen on aur stage. Sho was frequently ap- olauded and was called hr-fnrJ tho curtain at tho end of the piece. The support was very good. Miss Walters made a good deal of Betwy, Iia did also Mr. Margetfs of Blinkinsop. Mr. Lindsay as Arnclifl' was painstaking pains-taking and satisfactory; tho Dr. Bot- cherby of Mr. Graham was pompously pompous-ly amusing: Mr. Marden did great justice to Mr. Sowerby Hone v wood f as did also Mr. Forstcr to ku mer Grazebrook and Mr. Wilton to Tofts, Tho ladies were creditably represent- ed by Miss Cogswell as Mrs. Mont- rcsor; M. Douglas as Lady Underwood, Under-wood, and Miss Dellie Clawaou as Miss Leech; and the smaller char- ? cetera wore satisfactorily rendered. jl "An Unequal Match" is an ox-:ellent ox-:ellent comedy which will bear re- S' (eating at any time tho management Sj ee fit to reproduce it. |
