Show Tlie Byciele Race. New York, 17. The seventy two hour byoicle race at the American Institute, In-stitute, to-day, terminated to night. W. DeNoille, champion, had covered 500 miles at 9 p.m. aud had an hour to spare. He tbfD dropped out of tbe race. 0. H. DdNoille, his Bon, made GOO miles with twenty minutes to spare. The distance of ibe other competitors was as follows: W. Rutland, Rut-land, champion of England, 476 miles; D. Bieland, champion of France, 315; V. H. Dailing, 91; W. E Harding, 215; Thomas Walsh, 210, and A. H. Meesingcr, 172. |
