Show Race. The race at Agricultural park, yesterday afternoon, was very well attended, considerable interest being manifested. Many improvements were noticeable on the track since the last race, and we have now a fine track, on which it may be expected that the blooded stock of the territory will give exhibitions of Bpeed from time to time. Quite a number of ladies were present, and the crowd was very decorous in every respect. The two-in-tbree race for gentlemen's gentle-men's road horses, was won by Will Clawson's mare "Tafley," in two straight beats, Heinau's sorrel stallion, stal-lion, "Dickey," being distanced on the first beat. The purse race, between "Nettie Crawford " and "billy Davis," was won by the latter in three straight heats. Fastest time, 2 5Xk, |
