Show Donations. The ladies of the relief com'nittee nave collected, in all, $925, and still continue their labors. An auction sale of articles contributed con-tributed for the purpose of raising means for the sufferere, will tuke place to-day in front of the Salt Lake house. Mr. H. A. Reed will conduct the sale, and there will no doubt be raised a considerable amount from thia source. The employes of the Old Telegraph works, yesterday, made up a purse of $100 for the fever sufferers. Tally one for the Old Telegraph men. It looks as if Salt Lake would contribute con-tribute in the neighborhood of $5,000 before all is through with. Eflorts in the direction of raising money for this object sutler no apparent abatement, abate-ment, and our citizens yet eeem disposed dis-posed to help out the endeavors in this matter. |
