Show OI,D CentenniaL 1776. The Brigham Young Academy, By the Utah county Times of Saturday, Sat-urday, we learn that an adjourned meeting of the trustees of the above institution wns held on that day, when Mr. Tanner, in behalf of the executive exe-cutive committee, reported progress in the repairs and general improvements improve-ments being made; and upon his motion the opening of the academy waa postponed till the 3d day of January, Janu-ary, 1876. The committee also reported re-ported on some minor subjects. The. election of a principal was next considered, and resulted in Judge W. N. Dusen berry being elected. We understand the postponement ia a necessity, as several improvements improve-ments are being made internally; and the question of inclosing thepromises with a high Babstantial fence is under serious consideration. |
