Only fifteen cases were treated at the city dispensary dispen-sary this morning, and ouly three deaths are reported so far. Total deaths yesterday doni beat, fifty-four. Tbe etlects of ihe prolonged beat is being felt now by a diuVreut class of people than at first. Scores ol merchants and professional men, clerks, salesmen, etc., and man) women are becoming sutlerers, and j prostrations ot greater or less degree are numerous in all parts of the city. I Even children ao falling victims and the mortality among infants is greater than ever known except in time of epidemics. |
