Sumner's body will be conveyed by tho committee to the Capitol rotunda between nine and ton o'clock to-morrow morning, and there lie in state till half-post twelve, and be then carried to the Senate chamber, preceded by the chaplains ot both Houses and the committee. The chamber will be draped, and there will bo cxira chairs lor members mem-bers and their families, the President and tho cabinet. The bit vices will be conducted by the Rev. Byron Sunderland, Sun-derland, Chaplain of the Senate, and Rov. II. Butler, Chaplain of the House. By requtit of personal friends no remarks will be made on the occasion. The remains will be taken thence to tho depot for New York cn fvutc lor Boston on a special train. There will be no formal stoppage stop-page in New York. Tho body wdl I e in state in Faneuil Hall. Tho pall bearers will be Senators Anthony, Schun, Sargent. M Ciecry, Oidenhy and Stockton. Tho-e specially spec-ially invited to attend the funeral art: the President and members of the Cabinet, justices of tho Supreme Court, the diplomatic corps, tho Gen eral of the army and Admiral of the navy. The invitation-, to tho but two named include invitations to army and navy officers, and oflioers of the 1 marine corps respectively. The Supreme Court, on motion of Senator Carpenter, who appeared in the room, adjourned over to attend the obsequies. r Boston, 12. Neither branch of the Massachusetts Legislature transacted any business to-day. On the aispin-bling aispin-bling of the Seii'ito, a message was received from the Governor announc ing tho death of Sumner and paying an oloqucnt tribute to his memory, and concluding w ith a congratulation that the resolution nwinding tb vote-of vote-of censure had reached him as it did. Among the names mentioned as the successor of Sumner are H. L. Dawos, ex-Gov. Bullock, Clifibrd, Gov. Wash-burno, Wash-burno, E. R. Hoar, Gen. Banks and Gen. Butler.
