The commission appointed to investigate the facts relative rel-ative to the recent alleged murder of five Osage Indians by the Kansas military, have submitted their report to the Commissioner of Indian affairs. They find the attack on these Indians was unprovoked and utterly unjustifiable, unjust-ifiable, and presume that when the attention of the authorities ot Kansas , is called to the evidence in the case, they will not hesitate to direct the return of the property captured from these friendly Indians; and it is recommended re-commended that in any event the government of the United States should see that the Osages are reimbursed. reim-bursed. . The chief of the secret service division divi-sion to-day received a dispatch from one of his subordinates in Buffalo, stating that a noted eounterleuer was captured in that city this morning, morn-ing, with plates, paper, ink and a large quantity of counterfeit money. The arrest is considered here to bo a very important one. A telegram dated Hobartstown, October 9, was received at the Navy Department to-day, from Captain Chand er, commanding the United States steamer Sicataria. He reports that all is well, and states that he would leave there to-day. The party to be landed at Crozet Island were not landed as the weather was too bad.
