Show Christmas Eve Party. The children of the Progressive 'Lyceum 'Ly-ceum have their party and Christmas tree at the Institute, on Wednesday afternoon, Ecc. 24th, commencing at 1 p. m. The parents of the children are invited to accompany them. ! Children not belonging to the school will be admitted to the party for twenty-five cents each. In order to cover the expense of the " music and hall in the afiernocfn, a select se-lect adult paily will be held in the evening, dancing to commence at S o'clock; tickets SI. 50 per couple, to be obtained of T. C. Armstrong, at Kimball &. Lawrence's; Alex. Rogers, at CunmngloQ &Co.'s; John Strick-ley, Strick-ley, at Walker Bros.; Frank Crocker, P. Tavey, and others. The Lyceum is an entirely unsectarian school, and the exclusive object of the party is to give an afternoon'.; enjoyment the little folks. |
