Show The Last Night. Miss Rogers carried away her audience au-dience last evening with her excellent-acting. excellent-acting. Wo saw no one who was not in some degree, enthusiastic over the performance, and regretted that the lady was forced to leave us so soon. We givo to her a parting word of commendation com-mendation from the most sincere conviction con-viction that she is deserving of all that can be said of a great article. Miss Rogers ia still in the bloom of youth, and with tho same caro and study that sho has devoted to hex profession in the past, she cannot fail to be one of tho brightest stars of the modern stage. AV'e regret much that Miss Rogers j was unknown to the public here he-j he-j fore her arrival from the west, for ft c j are fully satisfied that hod she bet'-ii , known as well as she deserved to hay.T jbeen, our theatre would have been crowded every night. The lady leaves this morning for Chicago, where she fills a brief engagement en-gagement before her departure for England, in the beginning ot May. To those who enjoy the histrionic art in that enterprising city, there is a great treat in the performances of Miss Rogers, and we hopo that the lady may have there and elsewhere all the success which her heart can dei irc.
