Show I Horticultural Exhibition. The first exhibition of the Deaeret Horticultural Society will bo held at the Thirteenth Ward Assembly Rooms, in this city, to-day and tomorrow, to-morrow, commencing this afternoon at 2 o'clock. The following are the awarding committeeB: On Flowers-John Flowers-John Gillies, Ed. Laker, Robt. Wright; on Fruits Thos. H. W'oodbury, Wni. St oner, Win. Leggett; on Vegetables Wm. Wagstftfl', W. R. Adkins, Thof. May cock. The following rules must be observed ob-served by exhibitors: 1st. Each exhibitor will be required requir-ed to furnish a card with his name thereon enclosed in an envelopo, the envelop o to be numbered with the corresponding number in preminm list. 2d, All productions must bo labeled label-ed with the proper name; should the name of any variety be not known, it must be so stated on the label. 3d. All articles intended for mm- petition must be the bona fide property prop-erty of the exhibitor, and havo been in his possession at least two weeks previous to the day of exhibition. Any one infringing this rule shall for-, for-, feit all prices to said articles. 4th. Where more thou one plant is required, the collection must consist of distinct varieties, and be in bloom, except when otherwise stated. All cut tlowers must consist of dissimilar blooms, "excopt where otherwise stated. All kinds of vegetables to be as distinct varieties as possible . 5th, All exhibitors intending to compete must have their productions at the place of exhibition not later than 8 o'clock a.m. on the day of exhibition. ex-hibition.
