Show COURT PROCEEDINGS. Third District Court, McKeau, C. J. Presiding- FORTIETH DAY. Thursday, Kov. 13th, 1S74. Court convened at 10 o'clock a.m. Joseph Miahler rs, William M. Johns et a!.; an order for opening depositions de-positions was granted. . Giles B. Overton vs. James F. ! Woodman et ah; suit for $-30,000 damages for the alienation from her father's house of the minor daughter of plaintiff; Tiltord & Hasan and Spicer for plaintiff, Bennett and Kimball Kim-ball for defendant. The jury caoie into court, and through their foreman presented the following verdict: "We, the undersigned, jurors in the above entitled action, find a verdict for the plaintiff, with damages in the sum of one cent." By order ol the court H. C. (.iood-. (.iood-. speed was excused from attendance on the court as a juror, till Saturday, Nov. 21st. Catherine Reese v.?. John Reese, in divo-ce; Rosborough & Merrilt for plai utf, Sutherland & Bates for de-fenujut; de-fenujut; motion for temporary alimony ali-mony and counsel fees. The motion was argued by Judge Sutherland and Lol. Merrilt, and wa? t aken under advisement by the court. Court adjourned till Friday morning morn-ing at 10 o'clock. |
