Show Distinguished Visitors from Cleveland. Cleve-land. Among the arrivals at the Towns-end Towns-end House yesterday, were the Hon. Daniol P. Rhodes, lady and daughter, of Cleveland, O.; Mr. and Mrs. Wick, Mr. Harry Wick, Mr. and Mrs. Hart, en route for California. The old settlers set-tlers from Ohio will remember Daniel P. Rhodes, the kinsman, devoted friend and executor of Stephen A. Douglass; while the names of Messrs. Wick and Hart are familiar to business busi-ness men all over the west aa Cleveland Cleve-land bankers of great wealth and eminence. emi-nence. They visited many places of interest, including the theatre, and to-day, under the guidance of Jerry Nottingham, Esq., go to Sandy and the smeltera. They are surprised and delighted with Salt Lake, its growth I and beauty, and will spend a day or 1 two at their comfortable quarters at the Townsend House. |
