The following agreement has been made between the committee of conference of the two political parties. The committee representing the Conservative People's Peo-ple's party pledge themselves to cause. all violence aud intimidation, if any exists, to cease throughout the State, and to nssist the constituted authorities authori-ties in maintaining the peace and insuring in-suring n, strictly fair and impartial registration and election; also to discountenance dis-countenance act and threats of personal per-sonal violence and all improper influences in-fluences to control tho will of tho electors, and render assistance and use every efl'urt to subject to penalties penal-ties ol the law all persons who may commit acts of violence or intimidation, intimida-tion, or conspire to do the same. In order to guaranteo a fair registration and elect on there is hereby constitut? cd and eshtb ishtd an advisory committee com-mittee compoaid of five members, namelv: Messrs. Albert Yoorhies i and K, S. Burke, selected by the representatives re-presentatives of the Conservative People's party, and Messrs, S, B. Packard and p. F. Joubert, Bolectcd by the representatives of the Republican purty, and of an umpire, naniely, Dr. M. F. Bonyjinofwho has been jointly selected This advisory committee i3 to supervise super-vise and carry on the registration throughout the State on behalf of all parties to the full extent of suggesting changes in registration officers and manner of conducting and carrying on the registration. Governor Kellogg, in the interest oi a fair and impartial registration, of his own accord is pledged to act upon the advice and suggestions of the advisory ad-visory committee, so long as such advice and suggestions are in consonance conson-ance with and permitted by the existing exist-ing laws of the Stale. It is agreed that two persons shall be named by the representatives of the Conservative People's party, who shall bo elected according to law to fill two vacancies which shall be created by registration in the returning return-ing board within twenty days. This agreement is signed by X. F. Kenner lor the Conservative committee of conference, and A. A- Atocha for tho Republican committee of confer ence. The following gentlemen composed the committee who have been acting as a committee of conference: John McEnery, D. B. Penn, B. F. Jonas, Samuel Chappin, Albert Yoorhies, D. F. Kenner, C. F. Beard, G.
