We have received re-ceived tho following from the Orphan's Home, Kansas City, Mo., with a request re-quest for its publication; and give it a place in these local columns that the oharaitably disposed may know of the matter and respond to the appeal as their feelings and pockets may dio-iate: dio-iate: Having failed by a few votes in the Senate to get our institution placed under un-der the guardian care of the S.ate, we propose trying to su?tain U still another year by voluotary donations, hoping and believing that the Legislature will yet agree to receive as a gift the pro-pert, pro-pert, and devote it to the welfare of Missouri's homeless and friendly orphans. or-phans. Will those who have aided us before, please onoe again lend a helping hand? And willtbote who have never contributed, contri-buted, send along their mite in the case of humanity?
