After an unprecedented long trial the great mining suit of tho Raymond & Ely mining company vt. the Hermes mining company has at last terminated in a verdiot for the HeTmes company. At nine o'clock this morning tho judge was sent for to receive tho verdict in the case. Ae soon as it was known that the jury had decided upon a verdiot, an eager, excited ex-cited crowd wended its way to the court houso, men pushing and pulling 3aoh other in their efforts to get ahead, When the jury came in, the court room was crowded to its utmost capacity all anxious to hear the result of its deliberation?. delib-eration?. Tho jury stood nine for the Hermes and three for the Raymond & Ely; Pictson, Callahan and Johnson being the latter. As soon as tho verdict ver-dict was rendered there ensued an exciting raco for tho telegraph offices, each one anxious to gat bis message in ahead of the othcrp.
