The town of Ogden is half a mile frem the depots, and in the businesa part of the town and its principal street, travelers will find ono of the most comfortable hotels in Utah, the Oodek House. It is well known throughout America and Europe, to bo one of the coziest and cleanest hotels in Utah. The Ogden House keeps carriage which are in attendance at-tendance upon the arrival and departure depar-ture of all trains, to convey passengers to and from the depots, free of charge. It is a two-tory brick building, and built expressly for the accommodation of guests. The Ogden House employs no runners, but employs a porter to assist as-sist its patrons and take charge of their baggage. All visiting Salt Lake City will find it to their advantage on returning re-turning to take the evening train and come to Ogden, thus saving the annoy-anceof annoy-anceof rising at 4 o'clock in the morning. morn-ing. Do you desire marble made to order, stone of any siie, shape or quality, a mantle piece, table top, cornice, quoins, or anything, in fact, of any kind of stone? If so, you can have it, not by the tedious process of digging the rock out of a distant mountain or quarry, hauling it to the place required, and cuttiDg it into the deEired form or shape; but by manufacturing it! Mr. Phil. Maxgetts has the patent right to sell, for this Territory,of the Sorel process for manufacturing man-ufacturing stone, and casting it in moulds in any shape or form required. It is just such a process apparently apparent-ly as a firm of architects and builders might make a for- j tune by, and largely benefit the ooun- i try, if the requisite material for the manufacture exists here in abundance, j as we understand it does. Mr. Mar-getta' Mar-getta' advertisement appears in this issue of the Herald, and we recommend recom-mend those interested in such matters to call and examino the sampler of manufactured stone which he haa on j hand.
