After the aeljournment of the District Dis-trict Court, yesterday, a large number num-ber of the members of the bur met at the court l-oonl to informally pay their respects to Judge Emerson, and to bid him goitl bye. After the passing pass-ing of a few mutual compliments between be-tween the bar and the Judge, the party, on the invitation of Marshal McAllister, repaired lo an adjoining room and partook of some choice wines, a bounteous supply of which had been furnished for the occasion. Judge Emerson, in Ihc short time that he has sat on the bench in tbis district, has won the respect and esteem of the entire bar. |
