Hastings, fireman of a construction train, entered suit against tho St. Louis, Kansas city and Northern Pacific railroad company for damagos aggregating thirty thousand dollars for iojuriaa received in consequence of a collision of their train with a passenger passen-ger train resulting from alleged negligence negli-gence by the company in not showing signal lighw and fligs at the station where tho accident occurred, to notify them of the approaching train. Tho Missouri Pacific recently brought suit against one of its conductors con-ductors for wanton destruction of railroad rail-road property by a collision caused by disobedicnoo of orders.
