Be had a long conference con-ference this morning with the secretary secre-tary of state and attorney-general on the subject, aod afterwards visited the capitol, where he invited members of the senate and house judiciary committee com-mittee to a similar consultation. The immediate reason for this sudden movement at this Biage of the session is founded on a memorial which has been forwarded to the President from the Gentiles in Utah, and which will doubtless bo transmitted to congress with tho executive message.
