The election bere was onb of the quietest for years. Bsiness generally was suspended, and a lare vote polled. The greatest exertions exer-tions were made by both parties. 'ull returns are net yK in. The second ward gives Morriman sixty-nine of a majority, a small conservativu gain of one hundred hun-dred and lifty-four. Wars 'n. Dauphin Co., gives Merriraan forty-one majority, a suittl conservative gain. Merrimaii gains two hundred in Ha eigb, and one hundred in Weldon. The lew returns so far received all show conservative gains.
