Show Miss McKenzie s Concert. The concert at the Institute, last night, drew a large and fashionable audience, who appeared well satisfied with the entertainment. The programme, which was a good one, was well rendered throughout, Miss McKenzie appearing appear-ing to considerable advantage. This lady has a sweet, clear voice which she manages well, and her execution is pleasing and correct. Her songs were well received and encored. Miss Hill sang very sweetly and the gentleman acquitted themselves most satisfactorily. satisfac-torily. The piano solos of Mr. Joseph Daynes were highly artistic and deserving deserv-ing of the applause which they elicited. |
