Show Meeting of the Sltreme Court. Knowing that the Hawkins case was continued until the meeting of the snpremft court of the Territory.in February, Feb-ruary, and that other important cases were to come before that tribunal, we started yesterday on a hnnt to find out what time it would meet- One record set forth that the court Btood adjourned to "Monday, February 6th, S73,"but as February 6th happens to be Thursday, Thurs-day, evidently thit wouldn't work. Another record showed that the court was adjourned to tho Monday in February, which might mean tho first, second, third or fourth. Judge Mo - : Kean, it seems, holds that the court is adjourned to the second Monday of this month, and judgo Hawley who never errs "to err is human" it is declared, holds that it is adjourned to the third Monday. Altogether the thing is as beautifully muddled up as if tho job had been bossed by one of those gentlemen who, Mr. Tffe says, don't know a verdict from a venire. It jost probable that judge McKean is correct, that next Monday is the day, and that the term hasn't lapsed after all. Good Templars. After the ceremonies of installation in-stallation Dr. Haswell, before delivering deliver-ing the address, made a few preliminary prelimin-ary remarks, to the effect that the organization of Good Templars was not a society of reformed drunkards, but an association calculated to improve im-prove the manners and morals of its members, cultivate courteous aod refined re-fined social intercourse, and make the labor of the order one of faith and love. Following these remarks Dr. Haswell entered upon the address of the evening, even-ing, which was givsp in an eloquent manner to appreciative hearers.
