A rich four hundred pound spool men, from a new strike, just made, caused all the- commotion. This little bit goes only some 500 ounces in silver, and 70 per cent. lead. It w;is taken from the upper fviwkmgs of the mine, and is very consoling to the minds of the owners This mine has recently made some important developments, under the superintendency of LJeorgo yi.
