Show Personal. 8. H. H. Clark, Esq., assistant goneral superintendent of the U. P. It. R., and Mr. Nutt, of the Omaha Transfer company, wero in town yesterday. We had tho pleasure of a call yesterday yester-day from G. T. Hanly, Keq., of W. W.. Hanly & Co., San Franoisco, New York and Cincinnati. Mr. Hanly is also correspondent of tho "Iowa State Leader," of lcs Moines, Iowa. He expects to leave for the cast this morning. morn-ing. S. W. Scars, Esq., left for San Francisco yesterday. P. L. Sherry, Esq., and family, arrived ar-rived from Now York laBt night. We were pleased last night to meet Jonas Lincoln, Esq., of Lincoln & Howard, stock brokers, San Francisco. Mr. Lincoln u going up Cottonwood to examine somo mining property for San Francisco capitalists. Money is wanted, want-ed, and tho gentlemen ho represents have it. M. W. Watson, Esq., and son, of Wm. MoCulley & Co., Pittsburgh, and James Marshall, Esq., also of Pittsburgh, left yesterday afternoon for Ogden, from whence they expect to start this morning for homo. John N. Pike, Esq., of the U. N. R. R., left yesterday for tho cast. |
