Show Tnc TjenacroRiAX Fair. The board of directors of the Dewc t Agricultural Agri-cultural and Minnfiict urinj BOeiety met last evening iu the Historian's office, W. Woodruff, president, in the chair. Director llockwood was empowered to complete the arrangements for the accommodation of stock at the Fair. It was voted that lion. George A. Smith, accompanied by one of the board of directors, di-rectors, go to the California Fair at Sacramento, and represent tho Agricultural Agri-cultural and Manufacturing society of Utah. It was also voted that two of the directors di-rectors attend the Fair at Ogden and two tho Fair at Prove The secretary read a communication com-munication to the Female Relief Re-lief Societies, which was ordered printed in the daily papers and in the Woman's Exponent. This circular will be found in another column of this morning's Herald. It was voted that J. R. Winder see to securing music for the Fair; also, that the board accept the courteous offer of-fer of Caldcr Bro's, to furnish a piano and musio for the interior of the exhibition ex-hibition building. ( The board then adjourned until neit Saturday at 7 o'clock. |
