Yesterday Elders Lorin Farr, Presidents B. Young and li. A. Smith addressed the eongrega- : tion. This morning the Ijowery was tilled. The speakers were President , Joseph Young, Elders C. C. Rich, W. Woodruff and F. D. Richards. llie teachings have been ol a most practical and encouraging character. There are three excellent choirs in attendance at-tendance discoursing melodious music, and the people are joyous at the presence pres-ence of the leaders of the church. .3 30 p. in. The vast assemblage this afternoon was addressed by Elder John Taylor and President B. Young. President Young urged the building of the new meeting house, in this city, the pushing of the Utah Northern North-ern railroad, the working of a road Girough Bear River canon beyond Franklin, which would materially shorten and improve the road and lessen the grade to Soda Springs and Hie) i County. Ho also suggested the erection of a tine Temple to he built on the bench crowning the. eastern part of this city. Weather line, but sultry; crops , backward, liul promising. |
