Show The Sevier Mines, From Mr. Blaney, who arrived in the city yesterday yester-day afternoon, direct from the Ohio district, the lollowiog particulars were obtained as to the mining outlook in the Sevier oountry. The most prominent promi-nent of tbe mines in the district, in extent of development, and in quantity of ore mined and in sight is the Bully Boy and Webster consolidation. The outcrop of this mine is regular and massive; it is of great breadth, and seamed with parallel veins of high averago grade. There are two shafts about 300 feet apart, 100 feet deep, and one on each division of the mine From the bottom of these shafts drifts have been run westerly across the ledge cutting ia their course several parallel lodes, varying from two to five feet in width, and carrying oro of a mixed oharaoter and excellent quality. At the distance of 50 feet the directions of these drifts are turned southward and being continued along the face'of the lode iu that direction. Tbo mine has never looked so well since discovery, and is daily improving with the progress pro-gress of tho work. From twenty to thirty men have been steadily employed employ-ed since last spring. Among tho other prominent mines are the Western, with an incline down seventy-five feet, following a fine vein ' of good milling ore. Tbe Amelia, with a tunnel in thirty feet, and from it a shaft 6unk twenty feet, disolosing a three foot lode of good ore. The Belabor, Bel-abor, with a tunnel in twenty feet, exclusive ex-clusive of open out, and with, several prospecting cuts and inclines,' above and below the tunnel mouth, mado for the purposo of ascertaining the width of the ledgo. Tho vein is from four to six feet in width, and the ore averages from $100 to $150 por ton in silver; even the oroppings are rioh. Tbe Spring-town, Spring-town, with a tunnel run 100 feet, tapping a four foot vein of good milling mil-ling ore; and tho Niagara, also opened by a 100 foot tunnel, and showing a considerable amount of mixed milling and smelting ores. Wood and wator aro abundant; there is a saw mill and an unlimited quantity of fine timber; game and fish are abundant, and it is a iioo grazing country.
