From ; Oneida county, Idaho, there was also a report of 3 schools and 177 popiis. The reportd fiom the different wards ; of Salt Like conoty have not all beeo I sent in, but those thit have show a large number of pupils. I Instructions were given by eider Geo. 1 Q. Cannoo, the president of the Sunday Sun-day school union, and by several superiotcodeoti of schools, as to the best mothods of conducting the schools, most appropriate rewards of merit for the pupils, etc. The committee appointed to make a selection of books to be used, reported that they had made a list of 1,200 dred volumes, and it was recommended that these books be ordered through the S. 8. union, a it could get them cheaper than by sending privately. Arrangements are being made to gather together as mmy children as can be, at the New Tabernacle, aed hold a concert. It was recommended that a number of hymns and songs be n ritten, to be sung at the coming concert. These meetings of buperintendents are held monthly, and are the means of doing a great amount of gooJ, |
