Show Personal. W. C. Griswold, a prominent citizen of Salem, Oregon, arrived in the city Sunday evening, and has departed for the mines. Mr. G. has already invested considerable capital in our mines, and entertains a high opinion of their worth. W. D. Wallbridge, an experienced Idaho quartz operator, also arrived in town on Saturday evening, and left yesterday for East Canyon, for the purpose of examining some of the mines of that locality. R. Anderson, formerly superintendent superintend-ent of the Wellington mine, Little Cottonwood, has returned from Sac Francisoo. He says there is a strong probability that a great deal of California Cali-fornia capital will be invested in Utah mines the present season. |
