Show Meetings at Ogden. The meetings meet-ings held at Ogden by Presu Young, his counsellors, members of the Twelve Apotlcs and other prominent elders on Saturday and Sunday were very largely -attended by the citizens of , Weber and adjoining counties; quite a number from this city were also present pres-ent " " ; The Ogden Tabernacle was crowded to excess, particularly on Sunday, when hundreds were outside unable to obtain admission. On Saturday the sneakers in the morning were Prest- Joseph Young, sen., and Elder George Q. Cannon; and in the afternoon Prest Brigham Young occupied most of the time in an address to parents and children. He was followed briefly by Prest D. a. Wells. On Sunday morning the speakers were Presta. D. H. Wells and B. Young. In tho afternoon the time was occupied by Elders Wilford Woodruff, Joseph F. Smith and George Q. Cannon. The services were very interesting, and the visit of so many of the leading men of the Church seemed to bo very gratifying to the people of Ogden and vicinity. The party from this city speak in the highest terms of the generous hospitality of their Ogden friends. |
