Show Fl'N'ER.u, The funeral services of Mrs. Mary E. Crarall, which took place yesterday morning at FrcsM'-Tu ( Young's scliool-ro'.'ij. was very hz'y (attended by relatives and -ym; a'.hizin? friends, who thus assembled to pay the last tribute of respect to one whom i they had so dearly loved in life, and who . wai so suddenly called from the society of loved ones by the hand of death. ' The services were opened with sing-I sing-I ing by a choir selected for the occasion by Professor Thomas. Alter prayer I by Elder John Taylor, Elder George Q. Cannon read a portion of scripture and made some appropriate remarks calculated to console those who were so unexpectedly called upon to mourn the loss, whether of daughter, wife, mother or sister. President George A. Smith followed briefly in words of kindness and consolation con-solation to tho bereaved. President Joseph Young referred to the life of the deceased, which he characteriied as highly exemplary in every relation. She led pure and blameless life and has gone to her reward. President D. H. Wells pronounced the benediction. The remains were interred in the private burying ground of President B. Young. |
