Rosendeld. for harbor commissioner, on the Democratic ticket, is being scratched largely in favor of McGiynn. Republican. Up to this time it is impos?ib!e to say whether the general municipal ticket of Tax Payers, or Democrats, has the advantage in the 9th S ard. Indications are that the total vote .will be a light one. 'lhe Tax Payers' ticket at 1 p.m was largely ahead throughout the ciiy. The Democrats are swapping off Haight for Curtis io many cases, but Alvord is, nevertheless, ahead and from this time out it is expected the Democrats will poll the largest number of votes. The Democrats are not working with their usual vim. Present Pres-ent indications in the city are that the Tax Payers' municipal ticket will be elected by 2,0o0 majority, and Booth wiil have at least 1,000 majority. In the 10th Ward the Democrats made a mistake in the nauie of their candidate for supervisor, which was priuted 1. Bassett, instead of J. Barrett, and some 400 votes bad been polled before the mistake was discovered. In the 4th Ward, which contains the bulk of; the negro vote of the city, Tim Me-1 Carty, Independent or Ring candidate for rupervisor; is beating both the Democrats' and Tax Payers' candidates and is likely to be elected.
