Springfield, Mass., 14. The Stale Democratic convention was held here to-day: 317 towns were represented by 1,044 delegates. John Quincy Adams was nominated l'or Governor by acclamation, and Judge Abbott and Col. Charles G. Greene, of Boston, Bos-ton, Geo. W. Gillan, of Worcester, and George M. Stearns, of Chicopcc, were choen delegates at large to the National Democratic Convention. Resolutions Res-olutions were adopted demanding reform re-form in the national administration and a free amnesty and equal rights in the South; accepting the now amendments amend-ments and the "new departure;" calling cal-ling for a reform in taxation and a tariff for revenue only; denouncing the prohibitory and State constabulary laws; declaring against railroad monopolies mon-opolies and endorsing tho candidates nominated.
