Show More Small-Pox. We learned J yesterday that a family named Harris, j residing on tho cast bench, about a j mile from the Quarantine hospital, j has had two children taken down with small po::. The infuotion n supposed ' to have been communicated by a man ouiploycd asa nurso at the hospital, who visited the father of the family who has had the disease. During this visit the nurse and the father sal outride oa a wagon seat conversing, and when they left the children came and played in the same place, and from this it is supposed Ihcy caught the disease. I'ersQir: ylui aro ungated around smal!-pox patients cannot take too much precaution in their intercourse with others, to prevent the spread of this loathsome disease. The residence of the family now infected is entirely iriolated from any other dycllljg, and we hope that every precaution will be taken by the quarantine officers to eonllnc the dUcase within its limits. |
